History
The trail begins at a small parking lot area near the top of the road lading down to Rock Lake Beach. The official opening of the trail was held in July 2007, although it had been unofficially open for some time. The trial and bridges was build and created entirely by volunteer work. The Cartwright Area Foundation provided a small grant for the sign and the Pembina Valley Conversation District Mapped the Area.
