Rock Lake Beach

 

Located a few kilometers north just off Highway #5, Rock Lake is home to camping, boating, fishing and swimming in summer, and ice fishing in winter. Rock Lake Beach Store/coffee shop is open year-round and offers fishing licenses, seasonal lot rentals and full-service camping.  Make sure to take in the Rock Lake Nature Trail located near Rock Lake Beach, open all year round.

The Rock Lake Nature Trail begins at a small parking lot area near the top of the road leading down to Rock Lake Beach. The trail was cleared, and the bridges were built, entirely through volunteer work. The Cartwright & Area Foundation provided a small grant for the signs and the Pembina Valley Conversation District mapped the Area. The trail has become a favorite for many nature, peace loving visitors.
