Local Attractions
Badger Creek Park
Badger Creek Park is located about 3/4 mile north of Cartwright. Badger Creek Park is a place for swimming, picnics, and playground.
Heritage Park Museum
The Heritage Park Museums are located in Heritage Park on Broadway Street South in Cartwright and includes Todd's Shoe Repair, Badger Creek Museum, Mount Prospect School, Original MTS Office , Original Mather Post Office and the Heritage House.
Rock Lake Beach
Located a few kilometers north just off Highway #5, Rock Lake is a great place for camping, boating, fishing, swimming and hiking on the Rock Lake Nature Trail.
Cartwright Town & Country Golf Course
The Cartwright Town and Country Golf Club is a scenic 9-hole golf course located along Highway #3, just west of Cartwright.
The Clay Banks
The Clay Banks (Buffalo Jump) is a site about 2,500 years old site that was used by Sonata and Besant peoples as a hunting tool. Hunters would stampede American Bison over these cliffs for use as food, tools & clothing.
